The Northern Lights Lodge is the latest event venue at Gunflint Lodge and Outfitters. Groups of up to 50 can now start booking the new meeting space with floor-to-ceiling windows offering incredible views, a stone fireplace to set the mood, and a built in bar for all of your party’s needs. When the conditions align, you’ll be able to cap off the night with a beautiful view of any Northern Lights activity in the night sky over Gunflint Lake!
Weddings
The Northern Lights Lodge is the perfect place to host the ceremony and reception of your dreams. Sun soaked windows offer incredible lighting throughout the day and then at night there is a stone fireplace to keep the ambiance going. Whether you choose to stand at the front door/on the patio with Gunflint Lake as your backdrop or inside by the fireplace for a more intimate setting, the pictures are guaranteed to be breathtaking and the memories, unforgettable!
Fast forward to the reception where you will have your choice from an array of catering options provided by our incredible chefs at Justine’s. Include a bartender to have specially-crafted cocktails throughout the event and then cap off the night with a s’mores station that pushes your guests to try new combinations! *Twix, Marshmallow, & Peanut Butter Cookies, YES PLEASE*
The Northern Lights Lodge also has seven spacious lodge rooms, perfect for the bridal party. Get ready upstairs and then make your way to the venue
space either together or in separate rooms and down separate stairwells to save the first look for the ceremony. However you envision the day, we are happy and willing to tailor the experience to you!
Family Reunions
Make your next family reunion unforgettable at Gunflint Lodge and Outfitters. Booking the Northern Lights Lodge guarantees you’ve got space to relax and have a drink or sit down for a meal with the whole family. Smaller groups can easily fit in the lodging upstairs but the building is perfectly situated in the center of our other cabins so large groups can be as close together or as spread out as you like!
Let our events coordinator schedule daily activities for your group from lodge offerings like horseback rides and zipline tours to more curated offerings like a murder mystery party or a massive scavenger hunt! Keep up the energy with catered meals like brunch buffets and build-your-own pasta bars from Justine’s Restaurant.
