Gunflint Voyageur Cabins provide for all your needs and give you access to all the resort amenities, including canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards on the waterfront, hiking trails, and all guided Naturalist activities included. These single-room pine paneled cabins have a double bed plus three twins, a refrigerator, overhead fan, heat, microwave, a nice screened in porch with a picnic table and a BBQ grill outside. Shared fire ring, and bath and shower house are just a short walk away. Fitted sheets are provided; you bring your own pillow, sleeping bag and towel.

We loved the mix of camp and comfort we felt. If you want a home base for fishing and portage, it’s here; if you want a meal plan and a nice cabin with a full bath after top notch zip lines or a day of guided fishing, it’s here. Then walk to the dock in the morning and see the mist coming off the lake of glass. Seriously, it was so quiet that we heard the ducks’ wings when they flew by. Good coffee and hot drinks-always available- is a nice added cozy touch. Simply a great place. We think this just may be what heaven is like.
