Boat Rentals
Gunflint Lake is a perfect lake to rent a boat and motor and go exploring. There are waterfalls that you can visit, islands to stop at for a lunch break, sandy beaches to play at, and of course there are many fishing holes waiting to be discovered. If you bring your own boat and motor you have a complimentary slip at the dock with a stay at the resort.

Overnight Lodge Guests receive discounted rates: Duluxe Boat 8 hr – $210 / 4 hr – $150, 13 Passenger Pontoon – $299, 10 Passenger Pontoon 8 hr – $279 / 4 hr – $199
For non-overnight guests, all rental boats require a refundable $500 security deposit be authorized on a credit card at the time of rental. Reservations are charged at the time of booking and are not refundable.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will receive a 100% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days – 72 hours will be refunded the deposit minus a software/processing fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours will forfeit the full 25% deposit. If we cancel the activity/rental for any reason, a 100% refund will be issued within 7 – 10 business days.
Lodge Overnight Guests Rates: We are pleased to offer discounted rates for overnight lodge guests. While our deposit policy is the same for all activity bookings, lodge guests will receive applicable discounted rates at the time of final billing on the day of their activity.

Non-Motorized Activities
All guests have access to our waterfront amenities, which include free canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddle boards. These free rentals are first come, first serve.
Also enjoy beach access, roped off swimming area and swing set for the kids to play on.
Free Fishing Fun For Kids
As a complementary activity for overnight lodge guests, our guides will take your children (5 to 12 years old) out for a 1.5-hour fishing excursion on Gunflint Lake. We’ll gear them up with bait and tackle and take them to some of our favorite spots for a first-time fishing experience they won’t forget. If your child catches a keeper, we can even bring it back, teach your child how to clean and fillet it, and bring it back to you to have for dinner! This activity is complimentary for all our youngest Gunflint Guests, based on availability. Check with our dock staff during your stay to see when we may be able to accommodate you!
