Cranial Sacral Therapy releases restrictions in the nervous system by using light holds of the spine, skull and sacrum.  Having its roots in Osteopathy, the skeletal system receives adjustment through the process of unwinding and decompression.  This includes light movement of the joints resulting in a discharge of deeply seated patterns of tension in the body, mind and spirit.  The goal is to harmonize the rhythms and pulses within the bones, internal organs, and to enhance the flow of the cerebral spinal fluid which is known as the “Breath of Life”

Yoga Style

Classical Hatha Yoga – Stretch and stress relief. Class formula based on current lunar/planetary cycles, weather conditions, nature patterns, breathwork and somatic release. Marie has been practicing for 20 years, teaching for 10, and can adapt for who shows up in the moment. Style is more therapeutic than athletic.

Forest Bathing

Forest bathing is the practice of immersing yourself in nature in a mindful way, using your senses to derive a whole range of benefits for your physical, mental, emotional, and social health. It is also known as Shinrin-yoku. ‘Shinrin’ means forest and ‘Yoku’ stands for bathing. The idea took birth in Japan in the 1980’s and proved to be a very effective tool to overcome the ill effects of a hectic life and stressful work environment.

Forest bathing in nature allows the stressed portions of your brain to relax. Positive hormones are released in the body. You feel less sad, angry and anxious. It helps to avoid stress and burnout, and aids in fighting depression and anxiety. A forest bath is known to boost immunity and leads to lesser days of illness as well as faster recovery from injury or surgery. Nature has a positive effect on our mind as well as body. It improves heart and lung health, and is known to increase focus, concentration and memory.

Walks are gentle and suited for all levels.

Massage Policies: Please come to your wellness session with good hygiene. The full price of the session will be charged for those who cancel after 8am the day of the appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late to the session, it is also considered a cancelled appointment. Massage Therapy is not advised for clients who are sick or have a contagious skin condition, you would be asked to reschedule your appointment if you arrive ill.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will receive a 100% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days – 72 hours will be refunded the deposit minus a software/processing fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours will forfeit the full 25% deposit. If we cancel the activity/rental for any reason, a 100% refund will be issued within 7 – 10 business days.
