Several packs of Eastern Timber Wolves, the largest wolf species in North America,
are native to this area. This has been their home long before any of us arrived, and
now we are sharing some of this heritage with you, giving you a bit of knowledge
and some adventure hikes into the woods looking for their tracks, etc. Some of our
guided hikes are at night as we go out to practice our howling techniques to see if we
can get one of the packs to howl back to us.
