Around the time of the new moon, when the stars are shining brightly, we frequently get beautiful displays of northern lights glazing across our northern skies. They have blue, green and red hues and dance across the heavens in a mystical way. After your dinner in the lodge you should go out on the lake to do

your first viewing, then return to your cabin so you can cozy up by your fireplace. Just before turning in for the night you should step out and see the display again,
as it might well have gotten brighter and be more encompassing. Remember, we cannot promise a northern lights display every evening, but this is the best time of
each month for good viewing.
