Moose Madness

moose on gunflint trail Each fall we offer some northwoods adventures with our
moose calling expeditions during their fall rut. One of our guides will take you out and work at calling in a big bull during their mating season. Please understand in advance that this is a risk activity, although we have not had any issues so far.
Each full day at Gunflint includes one 1/2 day escorted moose calling excursion. Bring along country clothes and walking shoes or boots, as you will be tramping in the back country on old logging roads, along woods trails, and through bushy clearings. The second half of each day is for independent exploring-hiking or canoeing.

Includes: 4 nights accommodations, all meals, canoes, and 3 guided ½ day moose calling excursions. We will help you make your own moose call to take home with you.
